Ian Hartsoe

Ian Hartsoe (b. 1986, Haverhill, MA) is an accomplished silver gelatin printer and photographer. Focusing on urban landscape using nontraditional silver gelatin printing and exposing processes. By focusing more on technique than the final product creates a type of duality and question. What is the photographic art? How it is created, or what is created?

Ian’s work was featured in ‘Critical Mass,’ on view August 12-27, 2023.

“One of kind, direct in camera exposed silver gelatin prints.”
