Stephanie Prouty

Stephanie Prouty (b. 1968, Pelham, NH) has had a passion for art since she was young. Other than taking private lessons from a local professional artist as a young teenager, she hadn’t taken any other classes or had any professional training since. She began painting again during the pandemic when she had to close her recruiting business and needed something to focus on. What she never expected was how absolutely freeing it would be. She is finding that she loves texture and utilizing acrylic and mixed media. She is a truly self-taught and am inspired by nature and the etherical and spiritual side of herself. Although not always, she finds that painting intuitively has brought about some of her best work as she lets the painting take her where it wants to go.

Stephanie’s work was featured ‘Wish List’ on view December 9-22, 2023.

“This work features mixed media acrylic on stretched canvas in an autumnal palette.”

Stephanie’s work was featured in ‘Critical Mass,’ on view August 12-27, 2023.

“May there always be an angel by your side.”

Stephanie’s work was featured in ‘Glad You Asked,’ on view March 11-26, 2023.
