Susanne Larkham

Susanne Larkham (b. 1969) started avidly painting with pastels in 2018 and is an award-winning pastel artist and a juried member of the Pastel Society of America, the North Shore Arts Association & the New Hampshire Art Association. She is self-taught in the medium and uses pastels to capture nature’s beauty in an idealized representational realism. No stranger to the arts, Larkham earned her BS in Secondary Art & Math Education from Taylor University in Upland, IN. A transplanted Midwesterner, she has called New Hampshire home since 1993. Since 2013, Larkham has volunteered over 700 hours as docent/art educator at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, NH. She is a member of a number of local art associations including the Pastel Society of NH where she serves on the Board of Directors as their webmaster. A twenty-five-year veteran of the fitness industry, she is owner and founder of Bellami Fitness in Manchester, NH. She teaches multiple class formats including one she’s currently developing. Her fitness boutique doubles as the home of her mini gallery: On a Lark Fine Art.

Susanne’s work was featured in ‘All Together Now,’ on view February 11-26, 2023.

“‘Bold lines and brilliant marks of color help capture the energetic personality of my brother’s Corgi, Ripley.”
