Suzanne Lenz

Suzanne Lenz (b. 1963) grew up in Amherst, MA and developed a love for art very early on. She went to college for Art History and became immersed in her appreciation for art during an internship at the Albertina Museum in Vienna, Austria.

In her 30’s I began taking painting and mixed media continuing ed courses. She realized her skills laid more in creating pieces that involved assemblage, working in a variety of media with the ultimate goal of creating works that evoke peace and beauty.

Suzanne’s artwork was featured in ‘Joy!,’ on view December 13-21, 2025.

“These pieces were created out of a love for combining my photographs of nature and works found in museums. I wanted to draw out their beauty by combining them with lovely fabrics and dried flowers layered with wax to evoke a dream-like image.”
