“Painted shared stories. Wide, varied, common. Moods of self and my isolated life in the Maine Woods, away from people. This is an outlet. Sometimes my mood is so withdrawn months will go by without a new painting or they will come out in rapid succession. Over time, pieces organize themselves (metaphorically; they are inanimate) into chapters/verses.”
