Mandy Greear

Mandy Greear (b. 1984, Illinois) is a Seattle-based artist and dedicated art educator, who’s creative journey has been a colorful blend of whimsy and joy. With a deep-rooted belief in the power of art to enhance the quality of life, her work centers around the creation of delightful and silly robots that aim to bring smiles and laughter to all who encounter them.

Mandy’s artistic approach is characterized by a playful spirit, and she finds inspiration in crafting endearing characters, each one designed to infuse a sense of cheer into the hearts of viewers. With a background as both an artist and an art teacher, she is passionate about nurturing creativity and fostering positive connections through her work.

Over the years, her artwork has found its way into local shops, galleries, and restaurants throughout the Puget Sound region. Arty, the original character featured in her creations, has even traveled globally on greeting cards reaching hearts far beyond her local landscape.

As Mandy continues to create, teach, and share the joy of art, she is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the cultural tapestry of Seattle and beyond, spreading happiness one whimsical robot at a time.

Mandy’s work was featured in ‘Presently‘ on view December 14-22, 2024.

“Anxious robot lives in a world of uncertainty floating in outerspace, but at least they are alone.”
