Olivia Christian

Olivia Christian (b. 2004, Haverhill, MA) is a Derry, NH based self-taught watercolor and pen & ink artist who has been creative her whole life but in 2021 she took her first class in watercolor from a local large scale artist and fell in love with the watercolor medium.

Ever since she has been working on growing her skills in both watercolor and ink and participating in juried artisan markets and art shows all over New England.

Her artwork often starts in a circular fashion and then grows and changes into a beautiful aspect of nature.

Olivia personally struggles with anxiety and OCD so working in this way helps her understand how her brain works in different ways and loves seeing how something as simple as a circle can turn into a unique piece of art.

Olivia’s artwork was featured in ‘Joy!,’ on view December 13-21, 2025.

“I originally created my ‘Brook & Rainbow Trout’ watercolor painting for my Dad who loves fishing New England streams and rivers.

My ‘Sunflower’ ink drawing was created with my Vintage Dip Pen as a tribute to the simplicity of days gone by.”
