Susanne Larkham (b. 1969) started avidly painting with pastels in 2018 and is an award-winning pastel artist and a juried member of the Pastel Society of America, the North Shore Arts Association & the New Hampshire Art Association. She is self-taught in the medium and uses pastels to capture nature’s beauty in an idealized representational realism. No stranger to the arts, Larkham earned her BS in Secondary Art & Math Education from Taylor University in Upland, IN. A transplanted Midwesterner, she has called New Hampshire home since 1993. Since 2013, Larkham has volunteered over 700 hours as docent/art educator at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, NH. She is a member of a number of local art associations including the Pastel Society of NH where she serves on the Board of Directors as their webmaster. A twenty-five-year veteran of the fitness industry, she is owner and founder of Bellami Fitness in Manchester, NH. She teaches multiple class formats including one she’s currently developing.
