Barrett Fraser (b. 2001) was born Manchester, New Hampshire and raised in Quincy, Massachusetts. A New England black and white film photographer, Barrett started his photography journey when he was a sophomore at Quincy High School after taking a photography class. Upon graduating high school in 2019, he decided to enroll to New England College and study photography. Over the years he made many documentary and street portraits all around New England.
“I thought I was looking at a younger version of myself: his curiosity, the questions, determination, and excitement about the camera all echoed with me. Stumbling upon that scene, meeting and photographing this kid was a gift and a reminder why I am involved with this endeavor.”
