Bev Conway

Bev Conway is an accomplished photographer and arts educator based in Dover, New Hampshire. Bev has a passion for alternative and handmade photography techniques and brings this knowledge to the 21st century through her work.

“My eye is often drawn to abstractions. These photographs are part of a series created on the beaches of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. Unlike many beaches that are monochromatic, the sand there is largely two-toned; beige and black. The elements of wind and water as well as the presence of animals and humans constantly rearranges the sand. Each day has the potential for new abstracts. For me these photographs are about motion, shapes, light and the beauty of nature.”

Bev’s work was featured in ‘Perspectives in Light,’ on view May 13-28, 2023.
