Cathy Schmitz

Cathy Schmitz (b. 1963) is a fiber artist residing in Manchester, New Hampshire with her artist husband, K.D. Schmitz. While she has been making quilts for over 30 years, she has recently began to explore the ART of contemporary quilt making with modern techniques or by using traditional patterns with bold fabrics.

Cathy’s artwork was featured in ‘Joy!,’ on view December 13-21, 2025.
