D. R. Haigler

D. R. Haigler (b. 1987, Manchester, NH) has collected several interests in search of his own enjoyment and self-expression throughout his life. He tried his hand at writing and photography, but what truly grabbed his heart was painting. Self-taught in his home city of Manchester, New Hampshire, he went through trial and error with oil and acrylic. In the end he chose acrylic as his primary medium. His topic of choice is usually faces and figures, but he doesn’t mind painting still life, nature, or even abstract every now and then. With love and encouragement from the community, as well as family and friends, he continues to build confidence, hone his skills, and grow as an artist.

D. R.’s work was featured in ‘Group Effort,’ on view August 10-September 1, 2024.

“I’ve always been fascinated by Koi. From their size, to the way they flow through the water, and of course their unique patterns. To me, Koi are living pieces of art.”

D. R.’s work was featured in ‘Critical Mass,’ on view August 12-27, 2023.

“She is beauty from a different perspective.”

D. R.’s work was featured in ‘Glad You Asked,’ on view March 11-26, 2023.

“Inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s “Almond Blossom”, “Blossom” represents inner peace and tranquility.”
