Dave Coté
Dave Coté (b. 1965, Manchester, New Hampshire) creates in his home studio but spends time painting en plein air when possible. For four decades, Dave created in a world of acrylic paint and oil pastel. In 2018 while searching for more depth of color, he changed from acrylics to oil paints and was excited with the challenges and results this new medium has offered. Landscape painting is the primary voice through which his artistic voice speaks.
Dave’s work was featured ‘Wish List’ on view December 9-22, 2023.
“Inspired by shadows, light, and subtlety in color in nature, I look for ways to express the most in the simplest way.”
