Kevin McGoff

Kevin McGoff (b. 1972) is a collage artist and painter residing in Acton, Massachusetts. His compositions are formulated by working with paint, ink, and vintage printed materials to achieve a sense of spontaneity, while retaining visual remnants of the process. While there are elements of pure abstraction in his completed works, there are also images and symbols focusing on themes of isolation and references to locations and figures that evoke a sense of longing and loss. Kevin received a BFA from SUNY New Paltz and has exhibited in galleries in New York and North Carolina.

Kevin’s work was featured in ‘Glad You Asked,’ on view March 11-26, 2023.

“This series of works represent locations and experiences from my life which are an examination of an idealized, yet complicated relationship with the past.”
