Marcia Wood Mertinooke

Marcia Wood Mertinooke (b. 1980) is an artist living and working in Bedford, NH. Consistently creating new art, her work has been exhibited in juried shows across the country. She received her BA in Studio Art from the University of New Hampshire and was a student at the Chautauqua Institution in Chautauqua, NY. She was a founding member of the Monastery Artist Collective in Manchester, NH. She is a member of the New Hampshire Women’s Caucus for Art, and Watch This Space NH.

Marcia’s work was featured in ‘Wish List’ on view December 9-22, 2023.

“This work represents the expectations of women to be caretakers and the ways that they are othered when they choose to diverge from those expectations.”

Marcia’s work was featured in ‘Glad You Asked,’ on view March 11-26, 2023.
