Michael Guarino

Michael Guarino (b. 1953, Manchester, NH) work is a heartfelt exploration of memories and moments from his life, captured not through photographs, but through the timeless medium of painting. An oil painter specializing in figurative work, portraits, and seascapes, Michael blends the disciplined techniques of classical realism with a progressively looser, expressive style. He is a member of several esteemed art organizations, including the New Hampshire Art Association and the Portrait Society of America.

His work has been exhibited in venues across the country, from New England museums to galleries in Arizona and New Mexico. Michael honed his craft at the Academy of Realists Art, the Florence Academy of Art, and under renowned artist Daniel Gerhartz.

Michael’s artwork was featured in ‘Tout Le Monde’ on view August 9-31, 2025.
