Rose Hart

Rose Hart (b. 1996) is a visual artist based out of Chester NH. She studied at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and graduated with a BFA in 2018. She am currently a high school art teacher at Innovation Academy Charter School; teaching classes ranging from Illustration to Fine Art. Her mediums of choice are acryla-gouache and ink materials. Her work often has themes of heavy line-work, nature, and mortality.

Rose’s work was featured in ‘Glad You Asked,’ on view March 11-26, 2023.

“‘Bangalore Rat Nest’ is my first silk screen print made while I was living in India, the rat being self representational. The colors inspired by my many hot and dusty days living abroad.

‘Dog Mouth’ is an illustration I fantasized about a demon horse haunting the old west.”
