Sanne van Gent

Sanne van Gent (b. 1985, Rotterdam, the Netherlands) studied Fine Arts at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam and the University of Plymouth. Her work was exhibited in many galleries and projects spaces in the Netherlands as well as in other countries (e.g. Centro del Carmen in Valencia, das Klohäuschen, Munich and gallerie im Kornerpark, Berlin). Her work is part of private and public collections such as the Kunstuitleen in Rotterdam.

Sanne’s work was featured in ‘Group Effort,’ on view August 10-September 1, 2024.

“In my work I explore the thin line between what is created and what is originated. I create landscapes and universes that refer to our own changing world but are in fact imaginary, showing a hybrid world; half culture, halve nature.”
