Sara Rae

Sara Rae (b. 1981, Sutton, NH) received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2004 from Plymouth State University. She has lived in NH her entire life and currently works out of her home in Sutton. Her work is mainly comprised of still lifes and the local flora and fauna. Recently she has started to work en plein air, capturing fleeting moments with her use of expressive, and thick, textured brushstrokes.

Sara Rae’s artwork was featured in ‘Tout Le Monde’ on view August 9-31, 2025.

“I am drawn to the simple things that surround me at home, in my garden and in nearby landscapes. A study of quiet, but slowly ever changing, life and light.”
