
Anne-Marie Danizio
Anne-Marie Danizio (b. 1955, Paris, France) is an abstract painter and fiber artist. She started painting at age seventeen, experimented with other media, and underwent many hiatuses in her art practice.
Self-taught for most her life, she reconnected with her first passion, painting, upon completing her MFA at the Institute of Art and Design at New England College in January 2020. She is also the recipient of a Master’s in Art History (1993) and Museum Studies (2015).
In France, she worked as an elementary school teacher. After moving to the United States, she taught French to undergraduate college students in the Boston area.
